Abstract
The paper presents the research done to the development of a mobile charging station for electrified vehicles made for geographical areas where there are no electrical distribution networks. It was carried out based on a pilot project conceived in the Automotive Engineering Research Center of the Pitești branch of the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, representing the main element of the project entitled "CHARGING STATION WITH ACCUMULATION POWERED BY MULTIPLE ECOLOGICAL ENERGY SOURCES FOR ELECTRIFIED VEHICLES - STATIE-ECOVEL", financed by POR 2014 - 2020 Regional Operational Program, code SMIS 151829, beneficiary VALMIR PROJECT & CONSULTING S.R.L. The station was mounted on a two-axle trailer and includes a solar generator, a moto generator powered by Liquefied Petroleum Gas and a storage battery made of LiPO4 AHA cells. The solar generator is made with photovoltaic panels mounted on metal structures, articulated between them. In order to reduce the aerodynamic resistance, it is folded during transport and during use the panels are unfolded. The assembly of photovoltaic panels is automatically oriented towards the sun on 2 axes. Their deployment can be done manually or automatically with electromechanical actuators. The orientation of the assembly of photovoltaic panels towards maximum insolation is done with two electromechanical actuators for rotation around the horizontal longitudinal axis and rotation around a vertical axis. This automatic orientation on two axes is controlled by an electronic control module that includes an insolation sensor.
