The study aims to evaluate the effect of the use of autonomous vehicles in urban traffic, through software simulation of traffic. The PTV Vissim program is used, which allows modeling of driving behavior in different situations, including specific characteristics of autonomous vehicles. Mixed traffic scenarios are simulated, with both human-driven vehicles (Wiedemann model) and automated vehicles, reflecting real-world transitions.The case study simulates and analyzes traffic in a heavily trafficked area of ​​the city of Brașov.
