Recent technological advancements in mechanical engineering have propelled the evolution of commercial transport, rendering vehicle fleets increasingly sophisticated and efficient. However, despite rapid innovations in hardware, the road freight transport sector faces a severe shortage of qualified personnel. This challenge is systemic, extending beyond the Republic of Moldova to represent a critical bottleneck for transport industries across numerous European nations. Overcoming this crisis requires a synergistic approach: educational institutions must elevate the quality of specialist training, while transport enterprises need to systematically cultivate these competencies and implement robust retention strategies. Ultimately, aligning advanced technological capabilities with a high level of human capital serves as the primary driver of competitiveness for modern transport companies.
