Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

The submission will have two phases:

1 - submission of an extended abstract

2 - submission of the final paper.

Both the abstract and the final paper will be peer-reviewed.

1 - Submitting the abstract

The abstract should be submitted online, using the online submission system. Additional files may be uploaded (using also the online submission system), but are not mandatory. There are no formatting instruction for the abstract, since it is simple text.

Based on the abstract, the scientiffic committee will decide to invite the author to submit the final paper, or not.

 

2 - Submitting the final paper

The accepted format is Microsoft Word (doc or docx).

The proceeding of AITS2021 will be published with IOP Publishing Ltd, UK.

Only papers for the „Student section" will have included immediately after the name, affiliation and email address of the authors a line with the content: „First and Last Name - Professor Coordinator:” (of the coordinating professor of the group of authors / author). This row will be preceded and followed by an empty line and will have the same position, font and size as the Abstract.

Preferred length of paper: max 8 pages (even number).

Language: English.

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format (doc, docx).
  3. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

a) Authors retain copyright over their work, while allowing the conference to place this unpublished work under a Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows others to freely access, use, and share the work, with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and its initial presentation at this conference.
b) Authors are able to waive the terms of the CC license and enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution and subsequent publication of this work (e.g., publish a revised version in a journal, post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial presentation at this conference.
c) In addition, authors are encouraged to post and share their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) at any point before and after the conference.

The names and email addresses entered in this conference site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this conference and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party. All data we collect from you on our websites is protected against unauthorized access by third parties.

While you use our websites, your visits to individual pages will be tracked and recorded in web server log files. The usage information we collect includes referring URLs, browser and device characteristics, IP address, operating system, as well as dates and times of website visits.

Via the website, SIAR may offer via its website third party services, such as social login, social sharing, and banners to third party sites. SIAR may use this information to fulfil our contract with you (e.g. the publication of your paper). SIAR may contact you by e-mail to draw your attention to content that might be of interest to you (e.g. new editions of SIAR congresses) and for other advertising. If the personal information was provided to us by a third party, SIAR may still use this information in the same manner as described above. You will have the chance to opt out of receiving such e-mails by unsubscribing or contacting SIAR using the contact addresses provided in "About" pages.

As a registered user, you can access your account at any time and make corrections or updates. In accordance with existing data privacy law, you may request the information that SIAR holds or processes about you. On request, we will also provide you with a copy of all personal information that we possess about you. We will delete this personal information when you request to deactivate your account. However, some personal information may remain in storage for a certain period of time in order to comply with our (legal) obligations and to resolve disputes.
