Andrei-Eduard NEGRU – HORSE Powertrain

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Automotive Engineering study programme at “Transilvania” University of Brașov, Romania. Most of his career was within Renault Group & Horse Powertrain, where he started as a Fuel Specialist. He later advanced to the role of Local Technical Leader and subsequently, Project Manager. From this position, his main responsibility was the adaptation of powertrain system to project and market requirements particularly in relation to fuel quality. 

He currently holds the position of Fuels Technical Leader at Horse Powertrain, where he oversees all fuel‑related topics. Internally, his work includes providing technical support and guidance to project & strategy teams, ensuring alignment with fuel quality, standards and regulatory requirements. Externally, he represents the company within ASRO (Romanian Association of Standardization / Asociația de Standardizare din Romania), CEN (European Committee for Standardization) and the WGMM (Working Group on Monitor Methodologies of Carbon Neutral Fuels), contributing to the development and harmonization of fuel standards and regulations.

Christoph Menne – FEV Europe GmbH

Dr.-Ing. Christoph Menne is Executive Vice President and Managing Director of FEV Europe GmbH, a leading engineering consultancy. Within the board of FEV Europe he is responsible for all powertrain activities covering battery, EDU and power electronics development as well as fuel cells and combustion engines / hybrids.

Prior to his role at FEV Christoph Menne was Managing Director of HJS Emission Technology a Tier 1 aftertreatment and control unit system provider in Germany.

Dr. Menne led the Powertrain application activities of FEV in Europe before he worked for HJS.

He studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University focused his studies on electrified powertrains and received his Ph.D. on interacting fuel sprays.
