Andrei-Eduard NEGRU – HORSE Powertrain

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Automotive Engineering study programme at “Transilvania” University of Brașov, Romania. Most of his career was within Renault Group & Horse Powertrain, where he started as a Fuel Specialist. He later advanced to the role of Local Technical Leader and subsequently, Project Manager. From this position, his main responsibility was the adaptation of powertrain system to project and market requirements particularly in relation to fuel quality. 

He currently holds the position of Fuels Technical Leader at Horse Powertrain, where he oversees all fuel‑related topics. Internally, his work includes providing technical support and guidance to project & strategy teams, ensuring alignment with fuel quality, standards and regulatory requirements. Externally, he represents the company within ASRO (Romanian Association of Standardization / Asociația de Standardizare din Romania), CEN (European Committee for Standardization) and the WGMM (Working Group on Monitor Methodologies of Carbon Neutral Fuels), contributing to the development and harmonization of fuel standards and regulations.

Christoph Menne – FEV Europe GmbH

Dr.-Ing. Christoph Menne is Executive Vice President and Managing Director of FEV Europe GmbH, a leading engineering consultancy. Within the board of FEV Europe he is responsible for all powertrain activities covering battery, EDU and power electronics development as well as fuel cells and combustion engines / hybrids.

Prior to his role at FEV Christoph Menne was Managing Director of HJS Emission Technology a Tier 1 aftertreatment and control unit system provider in Germany.

Dr. Menne led the Powertrain application activities of FEV in Europe before he worked for HJS.

He studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University focused his studies on electrified powertrains and received his Ph.D. on interacting fuel sprays.

Morgan Le Cossec  – AVL

Morgan Le Cossec is a Department Manager at AVL with more than 20 years of experience in powertrain development, testing methodologies, and the digitalization of development processes.

He studied mechanical engineering and joined AVL in 2005 as an application engineer for advanced testing methodologies on testbeds, working on calibration and validation approaches across development and validation environments.

Over the past 15 years, his responsibilities have continuously expanded from calibration tools toward virtualization and Software‑Defined Vehicle (SDV) development, covering a broad range of powertrain technologies from conventional combustion engines to hybrid and fully electric architectures.

Guillaume Tuffier  – Horse Powertrain

Guillaume Tuffier is Vice President of Innovation at Horse Powertrain Ltd, where he leads all Advanced Engineering and Innovation activities across the group, covering both Horse and Aurobay divisions. With more than 20 years of experience in the global automotive industry, he has recognized expertise in product strategy, hybrid powertrains, and low‑emission technologies. Guillaume has held several senior leadership roles in R&D, innovation, and strategy, with strong international exposure across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He regularly engages with executive committees, boards, and industrial partners on topics related to energy transition, CO₂ performance, and technology competitiveness. His approach combines strategic vision, technical excellence, and robust innovation governance.

Marius Ionda Lead Vehicle Engineering for Derivative Programs, Renault Group

Marius Ionda is an automotive professional with over 19 years of experience in vehicle development and complex industrial projects within Renault Group. He is currently involved in key programs such as Duster 3 and Bigster, focusing on a new 4x4 hybrid system combining hybrid technology with LPG capability while coordinating EU7 activities across the Mioveni and Bursa plants. He has strong expertise in managing complex multi-powertrain programs, from upstream development to industrialization and serial life, across multiple brands, sites and international environments. Marius works in highly transversal contexts, aligning engineering, quality, logistics and manufacturing. He focuses on value by maintaining the right balance between cost, performance, quality, planning and design, enabling competitive and robust products.  


Florin Filcescu – Renault Group

Florin Filcescu is a Project Platform Leader at Renault with over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. Throughout his career, he has developed strong expertise in mechanical and systems engineering, vehicle development, and industrialization processes. With an academic background in mathematics, he approaches complex challenges with analytical rigor and efficiency. He has built his entire career within Renault, progressing from component engineering roles to leading full vehicle platforms. His system-level vision and cross-functional approach enable him to manage complexity and deliver innovative, competitive vehicles. Among his key achievements are his contribution to the launch of the All-New Duster and the development of the Hybrid G150 4x4 model, successfully introduced in 2026.
